Chelsea closing in on £6.3 signing of Brazilian striker

Chelsea are reported to have agreed a £6.3million deal for Brazilian striker Robert Kenedy, the Telegraph has revealed.

A target for Serie A clubs Internazionale, Milan and Juventus during last January's transfer window, the 19-year-old is expected to make a move to Stamford Bridge.

Last month, he was full of praise for the Blues and made it clear that his dream was to join the club.

"Of course, I am happy to play for Fluminense but it is my ambition to one day play in Europe," the youngster said.

"I like Chelsea because of players like Oscar and Ramires. I like the whole team."
