Chelsea defender Filipe Luis welcomes Falcao arrival at Chelsea

Defender Filipe Luis says striker Falcao would be an important addition to the Chelsea squad.

The former Manchester United striker is expected to join the Blues on loan from Monaco and 29-year-old Luis believes the Colombian's goals will be a huge asset for Chelsea next season.

"I played with Radamel Falcao at Atletico, he's a great player," Luis told Sky Sport Italy.

"I'm not sure if it's official, but I'm sure he'd be very welcome and it would help Chelsea a lot to continue to win trophies."

Meanwhile, Falcao says his agent is taking care of a potential move to Stamford Bridge.

"It can be [I will join Chelsea], you will know soon," he said.

"I'm just thinking of the Copa America and the squad. My staff are taking care of this."
