Tottenham Hotspur join Internazionale in race to sign Chelsea winger

By

Tottenham Hotspur have joined Serie A side Internazionale in the race to sign Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah.

The 23-year-old spent last season on loan at Fiorentina with the Viola eager to exercise the right to extend his loan spell.

But according to the London Evening Standard, Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino is ready to make a move for the Egyptian.

Speaking about his client's future on Monday, agent Ulisse Savini confirmed that the player might decide not to extend his stay in the Serie A.

"Fiorentina have the right to extend the loan for a year for €1 million," Savini told Sportitalia.

"But it's also true that the player has the right to veto that, so it all depends on what the player wants to do.

"He's with the national team at the moment but will decide when he returns."
