Thibaut Courtois urges Jose Mourinho to sign Radamel Falcao

By

Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois says former Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao would be an asset for the Blues next season.

The Colombia international continues to be a target for boss Jose Mourinho according to reports and the 23-year-old believes it would be "great" if the striker decides to continue in the Premier League at Chelsea.

"I know Falcao very well," the goalkeeper is quoted as saying by The Daily Star.

"He's a good man and a very good friend of mine. So if he comes to Chelsea it would be great.

"I don't know if he will join us because that's a decision the club has to make. But he would be a very good player for Chelsea."

The former Manchester United man was shockingly disappointing at Old Trafford last season, scoring only four goals in all competitions.
