Chelsea agree to sell 23-year-old midfielder to Sevilla

By

Chelsea are ready to sell midfielder Gael Kakuta to Sevilla, the Daily Star reports.

The youngster never managed to enjoy regular football at Stamford Bridge and was loaned out to Fulham, Bolton Wanderers, Dijon, Vitesse, Lazio and Rayo Vallecano in recent seasons.

He is expected to stay in the Spanish Liga after Sevilla made an approach with a £2.6m offer.

Talking about his future, the player told International Business Times last month: "I don't know.

"At the moment I am playing at Rayo. Then we will see.

"I am happy here because I play every game and the team are adding points. We already have a number of points.

"I don't know whether we will get [the qualification for the Europe League] but nothing is impossible. If we continue like that we can."
