Confirmed: Jose Mourinho says he wants to sign Radamel Falcao

By

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will make a move for Monaco striker Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian continues to be heavily linked with a possible move to Stamford Bridge and the Portuguese admits that he would like to help the 29-year-old rediscover the same form that made him one of Europe's most lethal strikers.

"If I can help Falcao reach his level again, I will do it," he is quoted as saying by Metro.

"It hurts me that people in England think that the real Falcao is the one we saw at Manchester United."

Asked to comment about the possibility of staying in the Premier League, the player told El Tiempo last week: "I know it has been speculated very much about Chelsea.

"I try to stay out of it. I care about working with Colombia [at this summer's Copa America] for now. That's what my agent does.

"I would like to continue in the Premier League. My future will be decided in the coming weeks."
