£10m striker reveals: I have heard of the interest from Chelsea


West Ham United striker Enner Valencia says he knows about interest from Chelsea but is ready to wait before taking a decision.

The 25-year-old is a target for boss Jose Mourinho according to and is expected to meet with West Ham United after the Copa America.

"We are going to see what happens after the Copa America - a competition in which I think we are going to do good things," Valencia is quoted as saying by Express Sport.

"I have heard of the [interest from] Chelsea, yes. And other teams. But we are going to wait. You have to see what happens.

"If it is for my good and that of West Ham, then it is welcome."

Meanwhile, the Ecuadorian wrote on his Twitter account:

"I really enjoyed my 1st season with West Ham and i am already looking forward to next season."
