Chelsea and Arsenal target: Jose Mourinho is following my progress

Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko is ready to join Premier League champions Chelsea.

The Frenchman is a target for Arsenal and Chelsea according to reports in England and he is ready to leave the Magpies to enjoy Champions League football next season.

"Is he [Jose Mourinho] following my progress? According to what I am hearing, the answer is yes," Sissoko told After Foot RMC.

"He is one of the best managers in the world and he he's won so many titles – any player would love to be coached by this man.

"All players dream of playing in [the Champions League] and I hope to participate in it one day but I'm patient, waiting for my time."

In February, the 25-year-old revealed his admiration for the Gunners.

"Arsenal made me dream when I was a youngster," Sissoko told beIN Sports.

"Patrick Vieira was my idol. I saw myself in him."

"You will have to ask my agent [about a possible move to Arsenal]. For now, I'm a Newcastle player and I am happy at the club.

"I want to play in major competitions and I want to do it with this team."
