Valencia to challenge Chelsea for Radamel Falcao

By

Valencia are ready to join the race to sign former Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao, Bola reports.

The 29-year-old was one of the most prolific strikers when at Atletico Madrid and Monaco but struggled to make an impact in the English Premier League this season.

According to reports from Italy, Juventus are also in the chase for the Colombian.

The Italian champions are not ready to meet Paris Saint-Germain's £40m fee for Edinson Cavani with chief executive Giuseppe Marotta turning his attention to the Monaco striker.

If they fail in their attempt to land Falcao, the Bianconeri will make a fresh move for Robin Van Persie or Gonzalo Higuain.
