Blaise Matuidi: We're heading to Chelsea to qualify

By

Blaise Matuidi is confident Paris Saint-Germain can cause a major upset at Stamford Bridge and qualify for the Last 8 of the Champions League on Wednesday night.

Les Rouge-et-Bleu eased by Lens 4-1 on Saturday with David Luiz, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Blaise Matuidi and Javier Pastore scoring the goals for Laurent Blanc's side.

And the 27-year-old believes the easy win in the domestic league was the perfect way to approach next Wednesday's game against the Blues.

"It was very important to go top of the table, even if it's only provisional," Matuidi said after victory over Lens.

"It's a good way to prepare for the Champions League match against Chelsea on Wednesday.

"We are heading to London with plenty of confidence. I think we can still do better in terms of converting our chances into goals, but we're working on it.

"Wednesday's match will be a very tough one against a team full of confidence. But we're heading there to qualify."
