Chelsea agree £10.5m fee for Loic Remy

By

Chelsea have completed the signing of Queens Park Rangers striker Loic Remy.

With Fernando Torres joining Milan on loan, the Blues were quick to replace the Spaniard with Remy signing a four-year contract with Jose Mourinho's side.

The 27-year-old was delighted after an agreement was reached between the two clubs as he described Chelsea as one of the best clubs in the world.

"I feel very happy and very proud," said Remy.

"When I heard Chelsea wanted to sign me I said 'let's go'. They are one of the best clubs in the world.

"I remember the amazing atmosphere at Stamford Bridge when I played there for Marseille and I can't wait to play for the first time in front of my new fans."
