Chelsea on red alert after Roma decide to sell striker

By

Chelsea are determined to add more creativity to their offensive department with a move for Roma striker Mattia Destro.

According to The Daily Mail, manager Jose Mourinho identified the Italian as the one to replace Fernando Torres with the Spaniard to be offered in a swap for the Italian striker.

At Chelsea, the Spaniard struggled to replicate the form shown at Liverpool, never justifying the reported £50m the Blues spent to sign him from the Reds.

Nottingham Forest youngster completes Swansea move

Swansea have officially announced the arrival of James Demetriou, from Nottingham Forest.

The 19-year-old signed a two-year deal as he explained that his objective is to score goals, impress the manager and break into the first team.

"It's great to be here," the youngster said. "It has taken a long time to get sorted but it feels good.

"I just want to get my head down now and focus on the season ahead.

"Swansea are a Premier League club, they play a great brand of football and they are a team that gives young players an opportunity.

"My short-term aim is to get game time and try to score as many goals as I can, but long-term I want to break into the first team here and impress the manager."
