Arsenal.com has already published a number of photos with the 34-year-old wearing his new jersey.

The experienced Switzerland international will soon be in action with his national team at the World Cup Finals in Russia.

He will bring plenty of experience at the Emirates having enjoyed spells at Lille, Lazio and finally Juventus.

"It’s a great moment," the player said after signing.

"It's great for me after Juventus to come to Arsenal and have this big challenge to make big things [happen] with this big club.

"It’s a new moment. Wenger went and now everything is a bit new, so it’s a big challenge."
