"I want to join Arsenal to work with Unai Emery" - Gunners in pole position to sign £44million-rated defender

By

Arsenal transfer target Benjamin Pavard is reportedly keen to join the Gunners this summer, Express Sport has claimed.

The 22-year-old is one of the many defenders linked with a move to the Emirates.

And according to Calcio Insider, the defender is eager to make a move so as to work with new boss Unai Emery.

Arsenal are in desperate need of bringing new faces to their defensive department.

Borussia Dortmund's Sokratis Papastathopoulos is expected to be the first one to come in although more defenders could be on their way.

Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner is also expected to move to the English Premier League and would join the North Londoners as a free agent.
