Confirmed: Three players have joined Arsene Wenger's first-team squad - jersey numbers already revealed


Arsenal have promoted Reiss Nelson, Joe Willock and Cohen Bramall to their first-team squad.

The three were part of Arsene Wenger's pre-season squad in Australia with Reiss Nelson featuring against Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Benfica.

He will wear the No. 61 shirt this season.

Willock was given the No. 69 and Bramall will take the No. 40 shirt.

Wenger was full of praise for 17-year-old Nelson after Arsenal's win against Benfica in the Emirates Cup: "He's a player from our academy.

"He's had an encouraging pre-season. He's shown you can go past people. He's not fazed.

"It's good for his confidence levels."
