Four-year contract agreed: £275,000-a-week world class star will finalise Arsenal transfer this week

Arsenal attacking midfielder Alexis Sanchez will complete his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain this week according to reports in Italy.

The Chilean wants to enjoy Champions League football next season and is determined to leave the Gunners after they only finished fifth last season.

Reports last week claimed that the 28-year-old has already agreed personal terms with the French giants.

He will sign a four-year contract and will earn £275,000 per week.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insisted on Monday morning that the player will not leave the North Londoners.

But the player has already made it clear that he doesn't want to play for Arsenal anymore.

Manchester City remains his preferred destination but the Gunners have no intention of selling to a Premier League rival.
