"He will sign for Arsenal" - Journalist convinced Gunners will sign £50million Barcelona target

By

BeIN Sports journalist Richard Keys is convinced Leicester City attacking midfielder Riyad Mahrez will join Arsenal.

The Algeria international is expected to leave the Foxes this summer.

He has been linked with a number of clubs, including Barcelona, Roma and Tottenham Hotspur.

"I still believe Arsenal," he replied when asked if Mahrez will stay at Leicester or join Roma, Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal.

At the start of the week, Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare confirmed that the future of the 26-year-old could be away from the King Power Stadium.

"I'm not sure. I'm not sure," Shakespeare told reporters.

"I think Riyad stated his position really clearly. Mine is really simple.

"While he's here and while we've had no bids officially – its all speculation - he has to be committed to the Football Club.

"I have to say in his two weeks back he has been totally committed and he's trained really well.

"Outgoings are inevitable at any football club but until you actually get bids for your players there is no decision to make."
