"He is expected for a medical ahead of a move" - Defender will complete Arsenal transfer tomorrow

Mathieu Debuchy is expected for a medical ahead of a move to Nice with "the next 48 hours" and finally end his Arsenal nightmare, the Sun has claimed.

The Frenchman has never managed to make an impact at the Emirates and was furious with manager Arsene Wenger after the Frenchman blocked his transfer to Manchester United.

Debuchy was approached by the Red Devils during the summer of 2015 but Wenger blocked his move in the same way he intends to block Alexis Sanchez's move to Manchester City this summer.

The 31-year-old enjoyed a loan spell at Bordeaux last year and is now ready to leave the club on a permanent move.

Nice are also interested in Christophe Jallet.
