Photo Confirmation: Arsenal agree deal for highly rated defender, player poses with new club's shirt

Arsenal have announced on their official website that 19-year-old Marc Bola has joined Bristol Rovers on a season-long loan deal.

The left-back spent the second half of last term on loan with Notts County, where he made 13 league appearances.

Bristol Rovers have already published a photo of the youngster with his new blue and white jersey.

Manager Darrell Clarke described the player as a highly rated defender after the two clubs reached an agreement for the transfer.

"Mark is highly rated by Arsenal and I would like to thank them for allowing him to join us on loan," Clarke said.

"He gained valuable league experience with Notts County last season and his arrival means that we now have competition for every position along the back line."
