"I want to play for a higher club" - Arsenal midfielder wants Emirates exit this summer

Arsenal midfielder Kelechi Nwakali wants to leave the club to enjoy another loan spell but this time not with Dutch second-tier club MVV Maastricht.

The 19-year-old spent last season in the Eerste Divisie where he made 29 appearances for Ron Elsen's side.

But he is now ready to join a "higher club".

"I would prefer moving to another club," the Nigeria Under-20 captain told ScoreNigeria.

"I would want to play for a higher club and face new challenges because as a player I want to grow.

"It is for Arsenal to decide [where I play next season], it is not really up to me."
