"Arsenal is definitely my preference" - 93-goal midfielder says he will be at the Emirates next season

By

Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil will not leave the club during the summer transfer window.

The Germany international has been linked with a number of clubs so far this summer but he made it clear that he wants to stay at the Emirates.

He scored more than 90 goals in his career and is one of the best assist men in the game.

"It is definitely my preference to stay," he told reporters.

"It is such a great club and I have always said that I feel very good at Arsenal. Once everyone is back in London we will sit down and discuss the future.

"For now the most important thing is our pre-season and getting through the tour, training and getting fitness. When I'm back in London, we will sit down and discuss."
