Huge blow for Arsenal after 23-year-old rejects significant contract offered by Gunners

By

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has decided to reject Arsenal’s final contract offer and see out the last year of his Emirates deal, according to Metro.

The Englishman is determined to leave the Emirates to enjoy guaranteed regular first-team football elsewhere.

The 23-year-old believes that the only way to make England's squad for the World Cup Finals is to leave the club.

Liverpool are interested but they are yet to make an official approach to sign him.

Arsenal, on the other hand, have offered him a significant pay rise but so far he doesn't seem to be interested.

Manager Arsene Wenger considers the attacking midfielder as a very important asset in his squad but the Frenchman cannot guarantee regular football to the youngster.
