"Arsenal have made a big offer" - Gunners make shock move to sign South American defender

Arsenal have submitted a "big offer" to sign Nice left-back Nice left-back Dalbert Henrique Chagas Estevao, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The French club wants at least £13.1million for the player, a fee the Gunners are ready to meet.

Serie A giants Internazionale are also interested in the Brazilian.

Dalbert is one of the many players identified by manager Arsene Wenger to replace Kieran Gibbs who is expected to leave the club.

Arsene Wenger has already strengthened his defence with the signing of Sead Kolasinac from Schalke 04 but he is determined to have enough depth in all areas of the pitch.

Arsenal have also made bids to sign Thomas Lemar and Alexandre Lacazette but both of them have been rejected by their respective clubs.
