Arsene Wenger "in with" striker's family - Arsenal manager the key to sign £113m striker?

Manager Arsene Wenger could be the key factor in Kylian Mbappe's transfer from Monaco to Arsenal.

The Daily Star has claimed that the 67-year-old has made contact with the youngster's family to convince them that the 18-year-old should move to London.

Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool have all been linked with the talented striker.

And according to BBC journalist Marc Ashdown, the Arsenal boss is determined to bring the 18-year-old to the Emirates, making him one of the most important signings ever made by the club.

At the moment, Real Madrid are in pole position to secure the services of the Monaco man.

Manager Zinedine Zidane has made personal contact with the player to explain the reasons why he should make a move to the Spanish Liga.
