"He is ready to sign a four-year deal with Arsenal" - Arsene Wenger's top summer target set for Emirates move

Leicester City attacker Riyad Mahrez is ready to accept a 4-year contract with Arsenal ahead of a potential £35million move, Football Talk has claimed.

The 26-year-old will leave the Foxes this summer with Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona all heavily linked.

He was one of the best players in Leicester City's title-winning squad two years ago.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was full of praise for the player last month and Mahrez was happy with Wenger's comments.

"It's an honour to receive compliments like this from such a big manager [Wenger] in world football," Mahrez told reporters after winning the Algerian Golden Ball.

"But there's a big difference between an offer and speculation, so there is nothing on the table at the moment."
