"Personal terms agreed" - Arsenal expected to conclude £20million transfer deal this week

By

Juventus have agreed personal terms with goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny and will try to reach an agreement with Arsenal this week.

Calciomercato.com has claimed that the Bianconeri have identified the Poland international as the one to take over from Gianluigi Buffon when the experienced goalkeeper retires.

The 27-year-old has returned to Arsenal after his two-year loan spell at Roma ended at the end of last season.

The Gunners have rejected Juventus' first bid for the goalkeeper but the Italian champions are expected to make an improved offer in the coming days.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger understands that the Polish is not ready to spend a full season on the bench and has agreed to sell him.

Colombia's David Ospina will also be sold with Fenerbahce set to sign him this summer.
