"With him we would surely improve" - Arsenal to hold talks to negotiate contract with "spectacular player"

By

Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Arturo Vidal has again urged his Chile team-mate Alexis Sanchez to join him in Germany.

The two are in action at this summer's Confederations Cup in which Chile have safely progressed into the semi-finals.

Vidal described his friend as a "spectacular player" and urged him to leave Arsenal to join "the best club in the world".

"I know him very well," Vidal told reporters.

"He is a spectacular player. And with him, we would surely improve.

"We already have a lot of top-level players. We are the best club in the world."

The 28-year-old Arsenal star man is a target for Manchester City and Bayern Munich but manager Arsene Wenger is determined to keep him at the club and to also extend his contract.
