"Spotted at the airport" - Is this the confirmation Arsenal are about to finalise striker transfer deal?

By

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud was spotted at the Lyon airport with reports claiming this is a sign that he will leave the Gunners in the summer.

The Sun has published a photo in which the striker poses for an Instagram picture on Saturday.

Arsenal have made an official approach to sign Alexandre Lacazette and could use the 30-year-old to convince Lyon to finalise the transfer.

Manager Arsene Wenger was full of praise for the Frenchman earlier this month but it seems more and more likely that he will leave the Emirates.

"It has been a frustrating season for him because he has not played a lot," Wenger declared.

"And when he has played well, he has not always played the next match.

"He has won us a lot of points when he has come on because he has scored lots of times. He has qualities that our team need."
