Shkodran Mustafi delivers message to Arsenal fans about Alexis Sanchez's future

By

Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi says striker Alexis Sanchez is an "extraordinary player" and must stay at the club.

The German was full of praise for his Arsenal teammate, describing him as one of the best in the world.

And it was a mistake from the Arsenal defender that allowed the Chilean to score against Germany on Thursday night.

The future of the 28-year-old remains unclear amid rumours that he will join Manchester City or Bayern Munich.

"I hope he stays," he told Sport Bild.

"He is an extraordinary player, for me one of the best in the world. I have experienced few players who are as hungry as him.

"As soon as he is on the ball, everyone knows something can happen."

Sanchez is currently in action with Chile at the Confederations Cup.
