"Arsenal are planning a bid" - Gunners will be title contenders if they sign this PSG target

Arsenal have identified Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the one to take over from Alexis Sanchez if the Chilean leaves the club.

Recent reports have claimed that the former Barcelona man wants to leave the Emirates to enjoy Champions League football next season.

Manchester City and Bayern Munich have both been linked with a move for the 28-year-old.

And Arsenal want to be prepared if they lose one of their best players this summer.

Arsenal fans on Twitter more or less all agree that the Gunners will be title contenders if they add the fast striker to Arsene Wenger's squad.

The Gabonese, also 28, is also a target for Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool with the Reds ready to offer £61million to secure his services.

At the moment, the Gunners insist that their priority is to keep Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez but with no Champions League football next season it seems that at least one of them will certainly leave the club.
