By

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas and general manager Gerard Houllier flew to London to discuss Alexandre Lacazette’s potential move to Arsenal, the Sun has revealed.

The two were spotted in the city this week according to journalist Matt Spiro.

He claimed that negotiations were about striker Alexandre Lacazette's potential move to Arsenal and the possibility of Olivier Giroud joining Lyon.

Manager Arsene Wenger has already secured the services of Sead Kolasinac with a midfielder and striker set to follow.

And he confirmed at the start of the month that he wants to sign three players this summer.

"Between a maximum of two or three," he told beIN replied when asked about summer signings.

"We cannot spend as much as many other clubs because some clubs have external resources that allow them to be basically unlimited.

"We can spend money because we have managed the club well. Let's not forget the amount of money spent is not a guarantee of success."
