"We're negotiating" - Manager confirms Arsenal in negotiations over deal for international star

By

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri says no agreement has been reached for the transfer of goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny from Arsenal to Juventus but the two clubs are negotiating.

The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with Juventus and Napoli but Allegri says negotiations are not over yet.

"It is not a done deal, we still have to close the negotiations," Allegri told Corriere dello Sport.

Earlier this week, the goalkeeper confirmed that he will be back at Arsenal after his holidays are over.

"As soon as my loan spell at Roma is over I will be back at Arsenal," Szczesny is quoted as saying by Calcio d'Angolo.

"There is no doubts about that but I'm currently only thinking about my holidays in the United States.

"Rest is very important for a professional and that's exactly what I need after such a stressful campaign."
