"Personal terms agreed, he will join" - Arsenal target set to undergo medical and sign contract

By

Bayern Munich winger Douglas Costa is very close to joining Juventus after a disappointing campaign in the German Bundesliga.

One of the most important players for the German giants when joining from Shakhtar Donetsk, he was often relegated on the bench by manager Carlo Ancelotti last season.

And according to transfer expert Emanuele Giulianelli, he has decided to leave the German Bundesliga to embark on a new experience in the Italian Serie A with other reports confirming that the player has reached an agreement with the Bianconeri.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with the 26-year-old but are expected to lose the race.

Three months ago, the Brazilian confirmed that was going to meet with Bayern to take a decision over his future.

"I speak to the club often," he said.

"We talk about my situation, if I'll stay here or if I have to find another team to play for. I'm not always that happy here. But soon we will find a situation."
