"He is on Arsene Wenger's list" - Arsenal all set for £50million offer for Chelsea striker target

By

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is plotting a bid to sign Real Madrid star James Rodriguez, according to Express Sport.

It is now almost a certainty that the Colombia international will leave the Spanish giants during the summer transfer window.

Chelsea are also interested in the 25-year-old with manager Antonio Conte eager to add him to his squad.

But he is also a major target for Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger who is desperate to add more creativity to his offensive department.

In-form striker Oliver Giroud has made it clear that he doesn't want to stay to spend time on the bench and could decide to leave the Emirates.

Rodriguez could be the one to replace the Frenchman with the Gunners hoping that he will rediscover the form that made him one of the most prolific strikers in the game.
