Arsenal and Barcelona expected to reach £43million agreement for transfer of youngster

By

Barcelona are determined to make Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin one of their key summer signings according to the Independent.

Barca were already linked with the 22-year-old during last summer's transfer window but manager Arsene Wenger blocked the move.

Last March, the youngster was full of praise for his manager but if the Frenchman leaves the club he would probably consider the offer from the Spanish giants.

"The loyalty to this person is worth more than money, it's something very important to me," Bellerin said in March.

"That he's there carries a lot of weight for me.

"Any player would be flattered by interest from Barca. It's the best club in the world and that is very nice.

"The fact that I grew up in the Barca academy also makes this a bit more special, although for now I'm focused on these games and on the season, and the rest will come later."
