Confirmed: Arsenal open talks to make impressive youngster Arsene Wenger's first summer signing

Arsenal have opened talks to sign KAS Eupen striker Henry Onyekuru, Sky Sports has revealed earlier today.

Earlier this year, the player confirmed that he was approached by a number of European clubs but back then he was fully focused on finishing the season with his club.

He scored 20 goals in Belgium's top flight.

The player has also been linked with a move to Southampton, Everton, West Brom, Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough in recent weeks.

The youngster has a £6.8million release clause in his contract and has already turned down offers from Belgian clubs Brugge and Anderlecht.
