Arsenal majority shareholder Stan Kroenke sends message to Arsenal fans after disappointing season

By

Arsenal majority shareholder Stan Kroenke insists his shares "are not, and have never been, for sale".

Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov has made a £1billion bid to take control of Arsenal from majority shareholder Stan Kroenke but the American's company released a statement on Monday to confirm the position of the American business entrepreneur.

The Gunners failed to qualify for next season's Champions League and will therefore struggle to attract top quality players during the summer transfer window.

Attacking midfielders Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez are expected to leave the club with the German linked with Paris Saint-Germain and the Chilean eager to join rivals Manchester City.

Manager Arsene Wenger is also unsure of his future at the club with recent reports claiming that he will leave after the FA Cup Final against Chelsea.

Diego Simeone and Massimiliano Allegri have both been linked with a possible move to North London to take over from the Frenchman.
