Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger explains when Aaron Ramsey will be back in action

By

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that midfielder Aaron Ramsey will be back in action next week against West Bromwich Albion.

The Welshman is a much-needed addition to the Arsenal midfield ahead of the busy Christmas fixtures.

Chelsea are currently nine points ahead of Arsenal with Wenger's men to face Manchester City, away from home, on Sunday.

"For the City game we should have approximately the same squad who went to Everton," Wenger said.

"Nobody's back - [Aaron] Ramsey's not back. He is the closest to coming back and we have some knocks and bruises but they should all be available again.

"Next week I believe he should be back in the squad in normal training.

"Danny Welbeck is one week away from full training. But of course it will take some time [for him to be fully fit] because he hasn't played for a long, long time."
