Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirms Hector Bellerin's long-term injury

By

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that in-form defender Hector Bellerin will miss four weeks of football after suffering an ankle injury.

The Spaniard will miss key Premier League and Champions League games against Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain and will probably not recover in time to face Manchester City away from home in December.

Attacking midfielder Santi Cazorla will also not feature in November as he continues his recovery from injury.

"Hector [Bellerin] is out for four weeks," Wenger explained.

"He got injured in the last 10 seconds against Spurs after a very strong tackle by Danny Rose.

[Santi] Cazorla is still out. I don't know exactly how long for. He's still not even out in training yet."
