Arsene Wenger provides latest injury update ahead of tonight's game against Paris Saint-Germain

By

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that defender Laurent Koscielny has recovered from a face injury and will be in the squad to face Paris Saint-Germain.

The Gunners kick off their Champions League campaign with a very tough away fixture in Paris but the Frenchman is confident his squad can cause a major upset and take all three points from the Parc des Princes.

"He's [Laurent Koscielny is] alright," Wenger said.

"He had a big knock on his face [after the Southampton game] but recovered quite well. I was concerned after the game that he wouldn't be available, but he's alright.

"It's [tonight's game is] important, but I don't think it goes beyond two good sides playing against each other. There's no symbolism to it, no symbolic meaning to this match.

"We just want to pick up the three points."
