Arsenal make move to sign Real Madrid star - he is Arsene Wenger's dream signing

By

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has identified Real Madrid striker James Rodriguez as his dream signing for this summer.

Tutto Mercato Web believes the Gunners will do "absolutely everything" to sign the 25-year-old.

The Colombia failed to enjoy regular football at the Santiago Bernabeu and according to recent reports he would be delighted to make a move to the English Premier League.

But at the end of last month, he insisted that he wants to fight for a regular place in Madrid.

"I will fight to earn my place. That's my dream. I will stay at Real Madrid, I will succeed here," he told Marca.

"I know that the club received an €85m [£71million] bid for me, but I'm not leaving."
