Arsenal have finally completed a deal to sign Nigerian midfielder Kelechi Nwakali.

The 18-year-old posted a photo on his Twitter account with a message saying: "I am officially an @Arsenal player. Thanks to God and my family and friends. Hard work starts now!"

According to recent reports, the youngster signed a five-year contract with the Gunners.

At the end of last month, Diamond Football Academy chief Emeka Amajiriaku confirmed that the player would be in London in the first of week of August to finalise the transfer.

The talented midfielder will probably be loaned out to gain experience as he joins Granit Xhaka, Takuma Asano and Rob Holding as the new players to join the club this summer.

Arsenal fans are still waiting for two important signings to be made as reports continue to link the Gunners with Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez and Valencia's Shkodran Mustafi.
