Arsenal's fourth summer signing finally arrives in London to sign contract with Gunners

By

Nigeria youngster Kelechi Nwakali will officially become an Arsenal player this week.

All Nigeria Soccer has confirmed that the youngster is on his way to London to finally sign a five-year deal with the Gunners.

He will join Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka, Japanese striker Takuma Asano and defender Rob Holding as new signings during the summer transfer window.

Arsenal made contact to sign the player after he won the Adidas golden ball at the FIFA U-17 World Cup last year.

In June, ASJ Academy chief Emeka Amajiriaku also revealed that the player will wear the iconic No.25 squad number, previously worn by his hero Nwankwo Kanu.

It is unclear whether the Gunners will succeed in their application to secure a work permit for the 18-year-old.
