Impressive no. 9 informs Arsenal he wants to join, his club confirm he wants to leave

By

Milan striker Carlos Bacca wants to leave the club because he wants to enjoy Champions League football this season.

The Colombia international has rejected a move to West Ham United but is keen on making a move to Arsenal.

He would be delighted to join the Gunners although he is also open to a possible move to the Spanish Liga.

Meanwhile, new manager Vincenzo Montella has confirmed that the striker will probably leave since the Rossoneri will not feature in Europe's most prestigious competition in this campaign.

"It's hard to give up a player who guarantees goals," Montella said.

"The club will evaluate things with the boy, because he aspires to play in the Champions League.

"The squad needs to be completed but we have clear ideas. The ball is now in CEO Adriano Galliani's court – he must make the best choices based on the market and our finances."
