Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has sent his scouts to watch impressive forward

By

Arsenal are tracking Hoffenheim winger Philipp Ochs ahead of a potential summer transfer, Metro has revealed.

The 19-year-old is considered by many as one of the most promising young players in Germany.

He is currently in action at the Under-19s European Championships and according to Bild, Arsenal scouts were impressed after the player scored a hat-trick in Germany's 4-3 defeat against Portugal.

The youngster made his Bundesliga debut for Hoffenheim against Bayer Leverkusen last year and went on to feature 12 more times for his club.

Agent Arthur Beck has confirmed that a number of clubs are monitoring the progress of his client.

"Philip has attracted attention with strong performances - not only now at the European Championships," he said.
