Arsenal in talks with defender as Arsene Wenger looks to sign perfect partner for Laurent Koscielny

Arsenal have held talks with Internazionale to understand if defender Jeison Murillo is for sale, Tribal Football has revealed.

Murillo impressed under Roberto Mancini since joining from Granada and is a solid regular for the Colombian national side.

Other teams are interested in the 24-year-old but he insists that he is happy at Internazionale.

"I always work hard to achieve my objectives," he told WebNoticiasTV.

"Joining Internazionale and doing well was an objective, I wanted to do things the way I like them. I wanted to grow as a player and as a person and at Internazionale I managed to do it.

"Unfortunately we failed to fight for the title or to reach the Champions League.

"I'm at a very big club, I learn everything and I want to help the team. My present is here, rumours are always around the corner but I am a 'Nerazzurro'.

"My focus is exclusively on Internazionale."
