Arsenal have entered the race to sign experienced Barcelona attacking midfielder

By

Arsenal are ready to enter the bidding to sign Barcelona star Arda Turan in the summer transfer window, according to Metro.

According to the article, Fenerbahce have already made contact with the Spanish giants to understand if the 29-year-old is for sale.

And now the Gunners have also joined the race to sign the experienced attacking midfielder.

In March, the Turkey international said he would have considered a switch to the Gunners.

"I felt that I would sign for Barca. Honestly, I thought: 'If I play very well I'll end up signing for Barca, because my style fits this team. If I play well, finish at Arsenal," he said.

"For my style, with ball, playing easy, short, aggressive when needed, but especially good, I knew I could get here in Barcelona."
