Arsenal reach agreement with La Liga side for transfer of attacking midfielder

By

Spanish side Granada will soon announce the signing of Arsenal midfielder Jon Toral on loan, Ideal has revealed.

The youngster spent last season on loan at Birmingham, playing more than 30 games for the Blues.

He is expected to join Granada on a season-long deal.

In May, the 21-year-old confessed that he was looking forward to featuring for the Gunners but it seems manager Arsene Wenger has other ideas for the Spaniard.

"Seeing players like Alex [Iwobi] and Hector [Bellerin], they have been given the chance and taken it. I look forward to what's coming next," Toral said.

"Arsenal have always been a team which has given young guys a chance and that was one of the reasons which made me go there when I was 16.

"I think I'm ready but it's not for me to decide, you need someone to give you the chance at that level and it's up to Arsenal to decide if I'm ready or not."
