Arsenal have made contact to make impressive midfielder their second summer signing

By

Arsenal have made contact to understand if young midfielder Maycon de Andrade Barberan is for sale, Metro has revealed.

The Gunners have been monitoring the progress of the 18-year-old for quite some time and could make a move to bring him to North London this summer.

For now, Arsenal want more information on the player's physical condition as well as his commercial rights.

If the transfer goes through, the North Londoners would pay a low initial fee for the youngster with more money to be paid if he proves himself in the English Premier League.

Maycon made his debut with his club Corinthians in February of this year.
