Delight for Arsenal fans as Gunners join the race to sign impressive striker

By

Arsenal must pay up to sign Vincent Janssen after Tottenham bid rejected, HITC Sport believes.

AZ Alkmaar technical director Max Huiberts has confirmed that Spurs have made an offer to sign the striker.

Arsenal fans on Twitter were not amused after Spurs offered £11million to sign the 22-year-old, believing the Dutchman would be better off with a move to the Emirates.

Paris Saint-German are also interested in the youngster as Huiberts revealed that he was contacted by a number of top European clubs.

"The difference between the offer and the price we demand was too big," he told De Telegraaf.

"I've read a lot of speculation and been telephoned by other clubs but no-one else has made any concrete offer."
